Fracture movie - poem

Heard this in the movie "Fracture". Prbly my kind of poem, I mean I might write someone something like it.

"Do you dare stay out?
Do you dare go in?
And IF you go in -
Should you turn left or right?
Or right and three-quarters?
Or maybe not quite.
You can get so confused that you’ll start in to race,
Down long wiggled roads at break- necking pace
And grind on for miles across weirdish wild space,
Headed I fear, toward a most useless place.
The Waiting Place...
For people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
Or a bus to come, or a plane to go
Or the mail to come, or the rain to go
Or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
Or waiting around for a Yes or No
Or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite
Or waiting for wind to fly a kite
Or waiting around for Friday night
Or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake
Or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
Or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants
Or a wig with curls...
Or Another Chance."

I don't agree that the place is useless though.

  6. In life we are always waiting for something, or someone, whether we were in a place or in an open space, setting or running, no matter as time is passing, we still looking for what we are waiting for. Thus waiting room is not a useless place, as it is our life. The poem is beautifully shows how confused we might be while we are waiting,,,
Like this poem I had read....

I throw the flowers i picked them from a thousand farms
Rashed out of the door with so painful sadness and harms
Looking back no more, nor thinking, of what used to be charms
Just running away fast, my legs racing my arms
Was I wrong? Or timing was? I don't know!

    Thanks for sharing
